Collaborative Divorce Financial Neutral
- In instances where the couple has decided to use the Collaborative Divorce Process, avoiding the traditional adversarial method, I act as the Financial Neutral and become part of the Collaborative Team
- The guidance of the Financial Neutral will help protect the interests of both parties in a manner that is open and transparent
- Reviewing all assets and incomes, the Financial Neutral will help the couple analyze viable financial options within the framework of the Collaborative Process
Divorce Mediation
- Divorce mediation is a form of alternative dispute resolution in which divorcing couples work with the mediator to create solutions that benefit the entire family rather than placing blame
- As a mediator, I am an impartial third party, not a decision maker or judge. A mediator is trained to listen, question, clarify, and guide the divorcing couple to an agreement the meets the needs of the family
- The issues needing resolution can include the items listed above as well as child custody and parenting time, child support, and alimony or spousal support agreements
